Adoption News -- USCIS Advises of Changes at U.S. Embassy in Guatemala
An August USCIS Update states that the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala announced a change in the requirements of the biological parent that must be satisfied prior to the issuance of an immigrant visa for the adopted child.
Changes in I-751 Processing Effective immediately, the Nebraska Service Center will no longer fee receipt Form I-751, Petition to Remove the Conditions of Residence. Forms I-751 received at NSC will be shipped un-receipted to the California Service Center.
Rep. Lofgren Introduces Bill to Void Immigration Fee Increases Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), the Chair of the House Immigration Subcommittee, has taken on the USCIS over the fee increase that went in to effect July 30, 2007 by introducing legislation to force USCIS to reverse course.
